Restoration works have begun in the historical villa of Gracciano della Seta. The intervention aims at enhancing and securing the rooms that house the offices and the historical cellar dating back to 1816. These rooms are of particular importance to the della Seta family because they house the prestigious collection of old vintages of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano of great historical and cultural value. The building has suffered a structural collapse of the west wing, probably due to the progressive drying of the soil under the foundations. So it will be necessary to intervene with particular caution and the operation will require a large investment. The current project involves the consolidation of the foundations and the reconstruction of the roof of the west wing, thus improving the stability of the Villa symbol of the Gracciano della Seta Estate.
